HOW DO WE MAP BRAINS?

Brain Mapping is completed by scanning subject patients utilizing magnetic resonance imaging systems that have been optimized for brain studies. Our brain mapping systems are capable of a variety of different forms of structural and angiographic imaging in addition to functional echo planar imaging, diffusion imaging, perfusion imaging, and proton MR spectroscopy. By analyzing the data we obtain from our imaging systems, we can better understand the human brain during a variety of disease and disorder events and create strategies for prevention and cures.
